The rooftop sunset terrace has a wet bar and grill. Down at the pool there is an outdoor bar with a fireplace, a pool and a whirlpool. Food, drinks, sunscreen and grill smoke leave a film on the floor that gets slippery when it rains. Salt air dries on top of that. A hot-water surface clean and a degreaser lift it without etching tile or stone. We test a small corner first, because some stone dulls under strong cleaners.

Tall glass is the other job. Corner units on a high floor catch wind from two sides, and salt film shows on every pane at sunset. We clean balcony glass and rails from inside the residence, and we use pure rinse water so the glass dries without spots. Screens and tracks get wiped at the same time, since grit in a slider track wears the rollers.
