**Short answer:** Seaglass is mostly glass. Walls of windows and 8.8-foot sliders face Estero Bay, and bay air leaves a gray salt film that dulls the view within a few months. Rain does not fix it. A shower leaves drops that dry around the salt and make the spots worse. Most owners want their glass and rails cleaned two to four times a year, and their terraces washed once or twice a year.

Owners usually book their own glass, terraces and summer kitchens. The association decides on the tower face, the pool deck and shared areas. We quote each side separately, and we schedule through building management so elevators, loading and access are approved before we arrive. One crew, one contact and one written record per visit keeps it simple for everyone.

🌊 What a Glass Tower on the Bay Needs
Glass · Rails · Terraces · Summer Kitchens

Seaglass sits at 4971 Bonita Bay Blvd, at the northwest corner of Bonita Bay, next to Esperia and across from Eagle’s Nest. The Ronto Group built it on about 800 pilings, and architect Al Santiesteban gave it a coastal contemporary look with walls of glass. Every one of the ten floor plans is a three-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bath home of 2,889 to 4,663 square feet. Some penthouses of about 4,600 square feet add a rooftop terrace, which means even more open deck to keep clean.

Each residence has two or three private terraces. Some are screened, some are open, and some wrap the corner with a full summer kitchen. That is a lot of outdoor floor, railing and glass per unit. Wind off the bay carries fine salt that settles on all of it, then dries into a film that water spots will not rinse away. Left for a season, it etches into glass and pits metal rail finishes, and that damage does not wash off.

Summer kitchens add grease. Smoke and splatter collect on the tile, the cabinet faces and the ceiling above the grill. We degrease those areas by hand with a cleaner made for outdoor kitchens, then rinse with low pressure so water stays on the terrace and off the units below. Screened terraces get the screens brushed and rinsed at the same visit, since salt and pollen clog the mesh and block the breeze.

| Surface | Why it matters here | How often | Price |
| ------- | ------------------- | --------- | ----- |
| **Windows & 8.8-ft sliders** | Bay salt film and water spots block the view | 3–4 months | From $99 |
| **Glass & metal terrace rails** | Salt dries on rails and stains the deck below | 3–6 months | Quoted per unit |
| **Terrace floors (2–3 per unit)** | Salt, pollen and algae in shaded corners | 6–12 months | From $99 |
| **Summer kitchen areas** | Grease on tile, cabinets and ceilings | 6–12 months | Quoted per unit |
| **Pool deck & shared hardscape** | Heavy use around pool and poolside bar | 6–12 months | Quoted per building |

🏢 Working Inside a Managed Tower
Building Manager · Access · Leases

A tower like Seaglass has rules for vendors. We confirm the elevator, the loading area, work hours and our certificate of insurance with the building manager before the first visit. Glass on your terraces is cleaned from inside the unit. Any work on the outside face of the tower is done only by the method and the access the building approves. We never set up equipment on a terrace or the pool deck without a green light from staff.

Leases at Seaglass are limited to three per year with a 30-day minimum. If you rent your residence, we can book your glass and terraces in the gap between tenants so the next guest walks onto a clean terrace. Up to two pets are allowed, so we use a pet-safe rinse on terrace floors and let them dry before pets go back out.

For the association, we send a written record after each job with the date, surfaces, method and our Florida license number. Boards keep it with their maintenance files. We are Florida licensed and insured, and we are consistently 15–30% less than other local companies. There are no franchise fees built into our price.

Before Your First VisitAsk the Seaglass manager what vendors need on file. We send our COI directly and set the date with the front desk. Call [239-544-1165](tel:2395441165).

❓ Frequently Asked Questions
Seaglass · Bonita Bay

How often should Seaglass windows be cleaned? Most owners clean their glass every three to four months. Seaglass faces Estero Bay, and the salt film builds faster on the bay side and after a windy week. Unit window cleaning starts at $99. Many owners book a standing visit each quarter so the glass never gets heavy. Can you clean my summer kitchen and terrace on the same day?Yes. We degrease the grill area, wash the tile and cabinet faces, then clean the terrace floor and rails. We keep the rinse low so water does not run onto the terrace below. Most summer kitchen and terrace visits take a few hours.Does Seaglass face the Gulf or the bay?The bay. Seaglass sits on the Estero Bay Aquatic Preserve, not on the Gulf beach. The bay still brings salt air, which is why glass and rails need regular cleaning. Glass on the bay side usually needs the most frequent visits.Do you need building approval to work at Seaglass?Yes. We confirm access, elevator use and insurance with the building manager first. Work on the tower face is done only with the access method the association approves. We send our certificate of insurance before the first visit.
