# Screened Lanai CleaningThe Tides at Pelican Landing

Most Tides units are two-bedroom homes with a screened lanai, many facing a lake or pond. Those screens turn green and the floors pick up a film. We clean them for owners, often on the same day the association’s crew is washing the building.

## 🏊 Why Tides Lanais Go Green
Lake Air · Sprinklers · Pets
Lake-facing lanais catch moisture off the water every evening. Screens and frame bottoms grow a green film, and the floor stays damp and slick in the corners.

Sprinklers that reach the lower walls also reach ground-floor screens, leaving mineral spots and feeding algae on the frames.

Pets are allowed with approval, and lanais are where they spend time. Floors need a thorough clean and a rinse that leaves nothing behind before pets go back out.

Upper-floor lanais drain toward the ones below. When neighbors book together, we clean the upper lanai first so nothing drips on a finished space.

## ❓ Frequently Asked Questions
Lanai & Pool Cage Cleaning · The Tides at Pelican Landing

### What does a screened lanai cleaning cost at The Tides?
A small lanai starts at $249 and a standard full screened lanai at $299. Chalky aluminum frames can get a brightener treatment for $75 to $150 more.
### How often should a lake-facing lanai be cleaned?
About once a year, sooner if it stays shaded and damp. Lake moisture and sprinkler spray bring the green back faster on ground-floor lanais than on upper floors.
### Can I book on the day my building is washed?
Yes. We bill owners separately from the association and fit units into the building’s schedule, which saves a second trip through the gate.
### Do I need to be home?
Someone needs to unlock the lanai. Many owners leave access with a neighbor or the manager, and we send photos when it’s done.
### Is it safe for my pets?
Yes, once rinsed and dry. We rinse the floor thoroughly and ask that pets stay inside until it dries, usually within an hour or two on a sunny day.
### Will you tear my screens?
No. We stay at 100 to 300 PSI with a wide fan tip held back from the mesh.
### Can you clean my impact windows too?
Yes, on the same visit. See also [roof cleaning at The Tides](https://naples-pressure-washing.com/roof-cleaning-tides-pelican-landing/).
