**Short answer:** Apollo sits right on the beach, so balconies, rails and glass collect salt film within weeks. Owners who rent their units often have windows and balconies cleaned every 3–6 months. The pool deck, spa area and walkways do best with a wash every 6–12 months, and the building walls every 12–24 months.

Owners usually book their own balcony and windows. Pool deck, walkways and the building exterior are usually an association job. We quote either side, and we fit unit work into the gap between a guest's check-out and the next check-in. One unit is a small job. Several owners on the same floor can book the same day and keep elevator trips to a minimum. We are Florida licensed and insured, and the manager can have our certificate of insurance before the first visit.

Apollo was delivered in 1990 and has 90 units on 10 floors, with direct beach access across from Swallow Ave. Floor plans start at a 504 sq ft one-bedroom and go up to three bedrooms of about 1,288–1,400 sq ft. The small units make it a popular choice for short stays. A 504 sq ft unit still has a full balcony facing the water, and in a rental that balcony is part of what the guest is paying for.

Gulf air leaves a gray, gritty film on balcony glass, sliders and aluminum rails. Left alone it etches glass and holds moisture against metal. A low-pressure rinse with the right cleaner removes it without forcing water past slider seals into the unit. We finish glass with a pure-water rinse so it dries without spots, and we wipe down rail caps where guests rest their hands.

The building has a pool, spa, tennis courts and the Sunset Grill, an on-site seaside sports bar. Food areas near a pool pick up grease, spilled drinks and sunscreen, which turn pavers dark and slick. Those spots need a degreaser before the wash, then a thorough rinse so nothing runs into the pool. Tennis court edges and the paths that lead to the beach collect sand and dark algae too, and they clean up the same way.

Apollo units show up widely on Airbnb and Vrbo. A rental unit gets more use than a seasonal home, and guests notice dirty glass first. Many owners pair a window cleaning with every few turnovers, then add a full balcony wash before high season. A clean balcony also photographs better, which helps when an owner updates a listing.
